Congratulations! You decided to tie a knot with your second half. The wedding day is approaching and you are looking for a professional Toronto wedding photographer to document your wedding day! There are hundreds of wedding photographers in Toronto and GTA area, so which one to choose? When choosing wedding photographer in Toronto GTA there are a couple of things for you to consider: -The personality of your wedding photographer -The creativity and talent -The style -The experience and professionalism We are absolutely sure we are the best choice for your wedding! We are very easy going, flexible, professional, with sense of humor. Our style is romantic photojournalism with a hint of fashion touch, mixed with traditional formal photography and seasoned with candid style. At the end of the day you get it all: the desired portraits with parents and the true emotion of your wedding. We are considerate artists who understands that our art should serve your needs.
The personality of your wedding photographer is one of the key factors for choosing the right photographer for you. Your wedding day is the most beautiful day in your life; however it is also one of the longest days and the most stressful ones. With your wedding photographer you will spend this the most desired, longest and stressful day of your life. Every time, even years after your wedding, when memories of your wedding day will visit you again you will undeniably recall your wedding photographer. Wedding photographer is the vendor with whom you will spend more time than with any other: engagement session, rehearsal dinner, all wedding day from morning till late evening or even every early next morning, choosing the photographs after the wedding and mounting the album. This is also the person to whom you entrust your look! If you can trust your wedding photographer fully, and relax in his/her presence then that will transform into best photographs. Remember, all your wedding day you will look at the camera, all your wedding day you will see your wedding photographer behind this camera, and if you don’t like him/her that will pretty much influence your facial expression! No matter how good your wedding photographs turned out if your experience with photographer him/herself were bad, the enjoyment of your photographs won’t be the same. Hence, choose the photographer who can be part of your wedding day, somebody sensitive, polite, attentive to YOUR ideas and your personality! The creativity and talent of your wedding photographer Your wedding photographer MUST be creative! Wedding photography is highly specialized area. A wedding photographer during one wedding photographs almost in all possible (and sometimes impossible) conditions: indoors, outdoors, in rain and in snow, in places where there is only shadows and in parks where there is no shadow at all but only burning sun, in – 20C, and 40C…you name it. In addition to the said, wedding photographer must react fast and his/her camera should be always ready. Emotions cannot be repeated; they should be captured as they happen! Any experienced photographer can achieve technically good results, but only talented and creative photographer can see how unique you are and transfer it into images. Wedding photography is not just a regular service that you buy; it is a form of art. When you choose your wedding photographer you cannot insure that the very same photographs like you saw at somebody’s else’s wedding will be taken, because every wedding is different, every bride is special, every groom is unique, the weather, the veil, the mood, every thing is just yours and the photographs will feature just YOUR special day!!! Only the creativity and talent of your wedding photographer can insure that your wedding won’t be repeated in images wedding after wedding after wedding!
The style of your wedding photographer There are a couple of popular styles that exist today in the world of wedding photography, they all have their advantages and disadvantages: · Photojournalistic wedding photography or documentary photography – is defined by dictionary as telling a story with photos (with no involvement and control from the photographer). Today it is one of the most popular styles. Advantages: natural looking moments, true emotions, real moments captured, and real memories. Disadvantages: totally unpredictable results, you won’t know beforehand if something will be photographed or maybe not at all, you might not look your best in every image, you parents might be upset, because they won’t have a “nice” picture of yours to hang on their wall, maybe you will be upset because of the same reason also! (Especially if your dress cost thousands of dollars, your bucket is awesome, you had expensive jewelry that your grandmother presented you before the wedding, you spent 3 hours on your hair stylist from 4am till 7am…..) Well, just think about it! · Traditional wedding photography – is formal photography where people are posed and look toward the camera. That style needs active involvement of the photographer with pre-planned ideas. Advantages: you can predict the results, and with talented and creative photographer you can have unrepeated results. You can be absolutely sure you will have a gorgeous portrait from your wedding day. Disadvantages: time consuming, if your photographer is not creative you will end up with the same photographs dozens of other couples have. Many wedding professional photographers offer only one specific style. After working for years as wedding photographer we can offer a combination of styles. We love to capture moments as they happen without interfering, however we do understand your need to have the formal photographs of your bridal party, guests, friends and most importantly family! Candid shots can capture the beauty of the real emotions during your wedding day: the joy, the sadness, the laughter, the tear, catches you in the heat of the dance or at the awe of your religious ceremony. On the other hand any bride will be thrilled to have photographs that will feature how beautiful she is (and I was a bride myself, so I know exactly how it feels!). The gown, the veil, the special make up, the stunning hair, the amazing atmosphere of the day that will make you feel like a Quinn, all that should be captured in a couple of tasteful poses, doesn’t it? We think you deserve this attention! At the same time your wedding photographer should be attentive to your personality. Some of my brides are very fashion oriented, who want to feel like a model, others are shy, some want be strong and sexy on their wedding pictures, others feminine and fragile. In short every bride has her unique personality and look. We can make your wedding portrayal just the way you dream about it.
The experience and professionalism As we mentioned above wedding photography is highly specialized field. Therefore we truly believe your wedding photographer must have vast wedding experience. However, we also truly believe that new places and ideas can trigger your photographer’s imagination to create even better results. Some couples ask us if we photographed in a specific location. Sometimes the answer is “yes”, sometime –“no”. Should you be afraid of negative answer? Absolutely not! Look at the portfolio of your wedding photographer. Do you like what you see? Do you like her personality? Do you find other brides she photographed attractive? If yes, you can fly to the moon and photograph your wedding there and you will love your photographs. Good results come not only from experience, but are influenced by trustful relationships, the positive attitude of your photographer to your ideas and your personality, and of coarse from the talent, creativity and technical skills of your wedding photographer
Wedding consultation Wedding photographer is one of the key vendors who can give you necessary consultations before your wedding day. Should you use it? From our point of view, most definitely you should! Before the wedding day your photographer can give you actually enough information to make your wedding day much less stressful! At the wedding consultation we first will browse through my extensive portfolio. If any questions, comments or special requests concerning photography style or specific photographs will come up we will discuss them at the consultation. Foe example, if you like some specific pose or idea that you would love me to repeat at your wedding, or you want to ensure that we will have enough time to photograph your family traditional, posed images, or maybe you want to request only and only photojournalistic style with no posed pictures at all, that’s the right time to do so. All requests should be submitted in writing, so they won’t be forgotten or overlooked!!! Also at the consultation we will discuss all the locations at which we will photograph during your wedding day. Together we will plan the location list in such a way so your precious wedding day won’t be spent in driving between locations, but instead will be relaxing, fun and enjoyable.
Wedding photography budget, prices and investment! There are things that you can classify as your wedding expenses and there are other things that you can classify as your wedding investment. Of coarse it is your decision how to classify things, but from our point of view anything you use only once in your life is expenses, anything you use for lifetime and pass as inheritance to your children is an investment. The wedding gown you will be wearing only once, by the time you daughter will grow up, the fashion will change, and the fabric will loose its color, you wedding bucket will wilt before the wedding day is over, your limousine will be remembered only if it is photographed (if at all), your food at the reception will be digested and… well…, so what will be left of your wedding day? Only your wedding ring and memories! The photographs of your wedding day will present your memories. Everything you remember from your wedding and everything you didn’t notice will be on your pictures. How your dad cried, and how your mom laughed, how your grandparents rocked on the dancing floor, and the funny, sunny-shiny faces of your flower-girl and your ring-boy that’s the true value of your wedding memories.
